March 26th, 2010 Posted by daveWe are proud to welcome our two newest members to the RescueNet US team.
Aaron Fischer is from Minnesota via Bishop, CA. He works with a mountain SAR team there and is also a WFR instructor. Aaron is entering his PP1 phase.
Erika Jensen hails from Canada. She is an EMT-B and has been working with RescueNet in Australia. She is moving to the US and will be joining our segment of the team. She has completed her PP2 and is a full team member.
Please welcome them both to our team; they are excellent additions and will continue to increase the strength of our responses.

World Vision Pakistan Attacked
March 11th, 2010 Posted by daveRescueNet is shocked and saddened to hear of yesterday’s attack on the World Vision office in Manserah, Pakistan. RescueNet has worked alongside Wold Vision team in the Philippines, Haiti and other disaster scenes. They are an excellent group of people serving those in desperate need around the world.
Please pray for the families of the slain and injured and for the workers of World Vision globally who are feeling this loss.

Chile – offline
March 3rd, 2010 Posted by daveAfter much prayer and research RescueNet will not be deploying to Chile. Their main needs now seem to be security, heavy search and rescue, shelter and water. None of those are our specialties.
Thank you for your queries and support. Please continue to pray for the people of Chile. They have a long road ahead.
